WHO WE ARE

Care for women, by women—grounded in experience and understanding.

At Beautiful Mountain Birth, we offer the kind of care that listens closely, adapts when needed, and walks beside you through the wild, beautiful in-between of becoming a mother. Our team of experienced midwives is here to support your choices and your timing — with care grounded in trust and presence, never pressure. No performative wellness. No one-size-fits-all. Just real support, from women who’ve been there too.

OUR CARE AREAS

A one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work for health.

You’ll work with experienced midwives who specialize in natural, personalized care. Throughout pregnancy and into postpartum, we’re here with you.

My wife, healthy baby, and I are so grateful for Beautiful Mountain Birth! This being our first child we did lots of research to find the best birthing team that would be of the most support to my wife, as well as being willing to educate/include me, as a first time husband offering support to my wife during labor. Angie and her amazing team did just that! They did an excellent job answering our questions, including, empowering, and educating both mom and dad on our new roles and things we can do to ensure we have a happy/healthy baby! They have also been a great support to reach out to Postpartum, thanks again for being excellent to our new little family, we will definitely return for round 2!

I can relate to the reviews they have on their website. I was originally with a family midwife, but she was abruptly called out of town and informed me when I was 39 weeks. I felt like I just couldn't have my baby at home with trying to find ppl who could suddenly take my older kids, like we had with previous home births. I also was concerned about how I would be treated at a hospital where the natural approach is shunned. My husband and I went in for an interview 4 days before my due date and talked to them about how they do things and my special condition, where I hemorrhage even with good iron levels and would like to receive extra support on that. I felt like they not only didn't question my preferences, but went above and beyond to accommodate everything that we wanted.5 days later I started into labor in the morning and we made it to the center by 9:15am. Contractions were coming around 6 min apart, but they stalled and we ended up using the room until 9pm after baby finally came around 5pm. They were supportive and didn't press to "get the baby here" I was able to rest and get my energy up for the final act. Before leaving the team made sure I was feeling good enough to get around and administered an IV so I wasn't light headed as my husband brought us home to meet the siblings. The whole experience was just great. Eva, Roxanne, Jody, and Britney were such an amazing team. I genuinely felt loved and cared for by each of these women, even though we had just met. I also feel pretty good after having baby and feel like I'm stronger than I had been after past births, the IV helped a lot especially because I didn't eat much while I was in labor.

We gave birth to our last child at Beautiful Mountain Birth Center. We've never birthed with them before, but have birthed several children at other birth centers. Beautiful Mountain was fantastic! The midwives really took their time with us at each appointment, they never rushed and we really felt valued and cared about. And they were clearly very knowledgeable and experienced. When it came to the birth itself, they were fully prepared, with not just one midwife on hand but two, and several assistants! This birth was probably our favorite out of the 6 we've had. Everything was just perfect. One of the best parts was that immediately following the birth, before they did anything else, we enjoyed the 'golden hour' with our baby. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone who wishes to have a home birth or birth center experience.
